I completed a Photo Story as an example of an activity that students could do to present the summary of their research from the Osprey webquest. I found Photo Story to be a fun and extremely easy way to compile information in an engaging way. My initial final assignment for the webquest was for the students to do a short filmed newsstory with a flip camera, and I have left this as a choice for the final project, but after finding out about Photo Story, I thought that it would be more accessible for students and result in a better finished product. One problem when students film with the flip camera is that they don't speak loud enough and you can't really hear them on the finished piece, but with Photo Story, they are speaking directly into the microphone, which results in better sound quality. I will definitely recommend Photo Story to the teachers in my school as a way to effectively integrate technology into their students' presentations.
